I am doing what I can to help protect all the species of bees in my local environment here in South-East England, as bees are declining drastically in numbers and health. I am campaigning with the help of various national and local voluntary organisations to raise awareness about the plight of bees and about how we can all become bee guardians through protecting and re-creating the natural habitats that support bees, such as wildflower meadows, vital in my area as the UK has lost 97% of its wildflower meadows since the 1930s. I have even turned most of my garden into a wildflower meadow!
