The need for better healthcare in Iraq

Written by

I LIVE IN ERBIL KURDESTAN , IRAQ. I WORK IN AN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL.
THERE IS A LOT OF MONEY HERE BUT PROGRAMS AND PLANS FOR HEALTH AND SANITY ARE POOR.
MOST OF PEOPLE SUFFER FROM HYPERTENSION, DIABETES MELLITUS, CANCERS, HYPERLIPIDEMIA, AND OTHER DISORDERS.
THEY SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON TREATMENT AND INVESTIGATIONS. SMOKING IS COMMON, GYNECOLOGIC PROBLEMS ARE SAME. THERE IS LITTLE TENDENCY FOR TREATMENT OF WOMAN BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF HUMAN RESOURCES.
NO HEALTHY WATER. PEOPLE USE BOTTLED WATER AND IN THE FUTURE, THE EMPTY BOTTLES WILL BE A BAD ECOLOGICAL PROBLEM. I SUGGESTED THAT SELL THE BOTTLES WITH A HIGH PRICE, TO BE GIVEN BACK TO STORES. ONE DAY I ACCUMOLATED THE BOTTLES IN MY CAR AND WHEN WAS CARRING TO GIVE BACK TO ONE CENTER, SOMEBODY CAME AND ASKED ABOUT THESE TOO MUCH BOTTLES. POLICE CAME AND I HAD A BAD TROUBLE THAT DAY.
