HI,
Am writing this letter for making everyone International Nations aware about the biggest world MANMADE disaster which is going to happen in South India,if we do not start stopping it.

Its about a DAM and the Agreement made by British govt.and Travancore in India in 1886.

Agreement:Between Travancore and Madras (Now Kerala and Tamil Nadu)


A teaty for 999 yrs between Travancore Maharaja and Madras Govt.Signed by immense pressure on raja by British.
As per this Agreement Madras can take water for irrigation for 999 yrs.
The DAM is made in 1895 (started in 1886 and commisioned in 1895)of Surkey and stones(Ancient Technology: Surkey is made of lime stone and Some other materials,because at that Time Concreate wasn't invented.and Cement didnt use for this making of DAM,Here Surkey used for holding the Stones in DAM)
After Independence madras became Tamil Nadu (TN)and Travancore became Kerala (KL).and all Agreement before independence were cancelled.Even after that TN continued to use the water.
They are cultivating on 5 Districts with the water from KL.
As per the Agreement the dam and the area for Water storage (around 8000 Acres)is given as lease for 999 Yrs at a rate of 5 RS/Acres,that means 40000RS/Year.(714 $/Year).
They can use the water only for irrigation.
But after independence TN started generating Electricity with this water that was against the 999 Agreement.For making is as leagel ,On 1970's another subcontract made by KL and TN for making the agreement leagel.(But how can they make a change in an expired agreement by Independence.).
As per this agreement the lease amount is increased to 8 Rs/Acre.and some amount for the Office spaces allocated TN near DAM.now the yearly lease amount is near 7 Lacs(12500$)
After the earth quake Near DAM on 1979 ,several cracks found in DAM.And both states agreed to build a new DAM downstream to current DAM.And TN started strengthening DAM by adding a Concreate CAP on top of current DAM(this is called RCC Capping),made a concrete cover of having 4 feet width on fronside of DAM.Then Drilled 94 holes from top to bottom of DAM And inserted 32 iron cables together into this hole and tied it with Concrete to the Rock in bottom side of DAM.From top also TN Tied that cables(This is called Cable anchoring)
After that DAM is pretty safe but again Issue started in earthquakes.
Now the DAM situated area is in earthquake Zone 3.And as per IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi,this DAM Cant withstand a tremor having 5-6 at ricther scale.
If the DAM collapse around 35 Lakhs of people in 5 States will die in flood water.and several Lakhs in TN will die without water,and their 5 Districts will suffer shortage of water and those areas will become desert.
A case is under Supreme court on INDIA and the verdict is still pending.
So in 2012 a 117 Year old DAM is facing several earthquakes,and 35 Lakhs of people are under fear about the DAM.KL Govt.TN Govt and INDIAN govt are playing political govt.in this.
Because KL is ruled by Congress Party(National Party). TN is ruled by a AIDMK(Regional Party:Supporting Congress in Central Govt.)
So INDIA Govt.knows KL cant withdraw their support to INDIA Govt as it is their own party.But if TN withdraw thrie support to INDIA govt.Central Govt will fall.
So Central Govt is not taking a decision which is in favour for Kerala ,Anyway that is the truth.
Several Studies were did in DAM.Last test was Borehole test and A test Team made several Borehole to collect "Surkey " for checking its strength,But unfortunately they were not able to find any content of Surkey in DAM.that is DAM is just a fossile of Stones.
They checked the under side of water with a vehicle named RMV which took pictures of under water condition about DAM.which showed there is a big crack in between 95th-107 Feet depth which is having lenth of 1200 Feet and widhth of 1 feet to 3 feet.considering the fact that DAM Is having just above 1200 Feet length.
So as per this reports and latest pictures from DAM it is clearly seen that the DAM is not safe.
But the latest committe bribed by Tamil Nadu took an earlier report in 1980's from central water regulatory commission,and stated that the DAM is safe.
So the report is entirely against KL people.For politics Central govt.is also not taking the correct decision.
There is another issue for Central govt's stand,they just started a Nuclear plant in Koodamkulam in TN and people from TN and KL protested against that,because after the Tsunami in Japan and Fukushima Nuclear plant created fear in people.This Koodamkulam plant is just near to Sea too.
Central govt.needed support from TN to make this project work,so they stand against KL People.
Several protests are doing againt DAM issue in kerala in Facebook ,twitter also.
the current water level in below 120 feet and if we raise the level to 142 feet thats the request of TN.That will cause the DAM to collapse.
that will cause that largest MANMADE disaster in world.

If Somone reading this please help the people in KL and TN.
KL Govt.is ready to give water to TN,but they are denying it.The DAM is in KL soil and TN has no autority on it.Only they can use water.
TN fear that KL will deny water for them,but the fact is that KL is giving water to TN from other four DAM's in Kl.
Kl is having an open mind...but TN is showing narrow mind on this issue.
So am requesting all National leaders to take a look at this issue and try to find an amicable solution for this.
One more thig:-
Am also staying in a District which will also affected if the DAM collapse,my family is in Kottayam District,
But am not writing this for my family.This is for my people ..for the Common Man In INDIA..
