I am doing what I can to help protect all the species of bees in my local environment here in South-East England, as bees are declining drastically in numbers and health. I am campaigning with the help of various national and local voluntary organisations to raise awareness about the plight of bees and about how we can all become bee guardians through protecting and re-creating the natural habitats that support bees, such as wildflower meadows, vital in my area as the UK has lost 97% of its wildflower meadows since the 1930s. I have even turned most of my garden into a wildflower meadow!

Hi
We are a group in Iran more than 100 of university students work on the vermicompost and helping farmers to protect environment by using the vermicompost and do not use chimical compost. We also every week have programe to teach people to protect their environment by knowing how dangerous are plastics. Now we have plan to teach many people to know more about the waste and garbage they produce in their home. We have trained about 5000 women by training them through the face to face. W e are ready to go to poor country and help people for using and producing organic vermicompost and instruct vermicompost farms.

ENVIRONMENT AND POLUTION
BY
ENGR. OBIDINMA NDUBUISI

Under the topic of Environmental, and Pollution, we are going to take a case study of Bioremediation of Hydrocarbon contaminated in the soil.
INTRODUCTION
Environment is every matters or every thing that surrounds the earth crust, while pollutions are hazardous things that harm the living things, and the environment.
Taking A Case Study Of Bioremediation Of Hydrocarbon Contaminated In The Soil
Bioremediation is a means of cleaning up contaminated environment by exploiting the diverse biodegradation abilities of micro organisms to convert contaminants compounds to harmless product by mineralization, generalization of carbon dioxide and water.
The process is given below:
Contaminant + Oxygen + Inorganic Nutrient Carbon dioxide + Water + Biomass.
The product given is called bioremediation product, and it is environmental friendly product.
OBJECTIVES OF BIOREMEDIATION
1. To determine the extent to which Hydrocarbon Concentration was reduced by using in-situ enhancement method.
2. To study the effect and influence of micro organisms in treatment of given soil sample.
IMPORTANCE AND USES OF BIOREMEDIATION
1. It helps to protect the ecosystem,
2. It helps to create Job opportunity,
3. It helps to boost agricultural activities, and crop yield when applied appropriately,
4. It will help to reduce the problem of pollution and waste management,
5. It is an environmental friendly option, as no poisonous pollutant is being liberated into the environment at the end of the process, and
6. It serves as an avenue of development through industrialization and the best waste management treatment in the society.
SCOPE OF BIOREMEDIATION
Bioremediation covers the biological elimination of hydrocarbon contamination in the soil. It is the best method that can be used to eliminate because it has no chemical effect.

In saving the environment, I curated an exhibit called "RUOT: Indigenous flora of the Cordilleras". Together with some friends who love photography, we took photos of plants in our area and asked the botany experts to identify which plants are indigenous. Not only did we learn our cultural uses of the plants, we also traced our migration patterns as a "native group" or learned our roots, and learned to value wide open spaces. Our exhibit has been a permanent collection at the Research Center of the Department of Agriculture in Baguio City. =) Many students are able to see the collection.

Environment Educating people about of protecting the environment. I'm a Ghanaian from Western and southern part of Ghana and l'm contributing my stories as a united nations volunteer. But l have applied for the interst of becoming united nations volunteers and l have been confrimed and unstationed.
l have been educating people about the benefit of keeping it safe for betterment of tommorow. That is the environment we see it safe today might not be safe for us tommorow and there is the need of practicing things that will discourages soil erosion and degradation. This is because littering the environment increases flooding and tends to create poor infilterations and percolations. That is when the rate of deep soil are being clogged with litters int the soil. Again littering the environment tends to increase highest rate of poor oxgyenations from the air. This is beacause poor oxgyenations leads to poor respirations . When there is poor respirations it leads to increase of air pollutions.

Im BOSCO ENZAMA FROM UGANDA
Im very pleased to participate and volunteer with UN basing on my experience I would like to suggest empowerment of women for sustainable development.
Its should be noted that women in the continent of African constitute 60percent of the total population in developing countries they are the minority groups among the most vulnerable s, women are subject to domestic violence, poverty, HIV AND AIDS, illiteracy and among others they therefore become powerless in societies, so to increase there powerfulness, socially politically and economically I would there fore suggest to the delegate who are going to attend the Rio- dejaneiro earth summit 20-22 June 2012 to formulate women empowerment for sustainable development.
women do a lot of u paid labor they struggle to sustain families, they lack resources and skills to improve on their standard of living, they lack necessary information that can help them to take decision on their reproductive health, they lack power to end their exploitation, they need to be included in education, women need fully participation in conservation of the environment, ecosystem and biodiversity for sustainable development because women use the available natural resources for survival and their life mostly depend on the environment, there fore as a united nation volunteer I strongly campaign for women empowerment for both in rural and urban dwelling, empowering them will make women to gain power, access to information and skills for capacity building
I therefore require delegates to fully come out with documents that will enable the state parties to this summit to include women in poverty eradication frame work and i strongly campaign to include my suggestion in discussion.
thanks yours in service.
