Protecting the environment starts with small things that don't need to be expensive:
- riding a bike instead of a car for small trips and it is fun too when the children are with you.
- exchanging clothes, books etc..
- exchanging food. For example when you are making jam exchange it for other type of food with people from the neighborhood. It is fun, authentic, healthy and helps to build relationships too.
- share garden equipment or other tools etc..

That is one small step for an individual but a giant leap for the environment!!!!
