Having started lobbying in 2007 I have been instrumental in starting the conversation on the need for an energy policy in the Cayman Islands. I prepared a comprehensive report for the government in 2009 which has led to a national energy policy in 2012. The Legislative Assemply has now approved net metering and is planning a massive solar energy initiative.
