Am 21 year old girl who works so hard to change the negative perception that people have towards youths.I live in Mombasa,Kenya.A place that alot of youths have involved themselves in Drug abuse and all sort of deviant behaviour.This is brought about by idleness,lack of employment,Poverty and the inability of the government to involve them(youth)in activities.

After the 2007 post-election Violence that led to many people loosing their lives and properties,many people developed alot of negative attitudes towards the youth.Youths were considered rowdy,killer,inhuman and all the vices placed on them.

What hurts the most is that our POLITICIANS,are taking advantage of the youths Vulnarable situation.and they use them to bring chaos and destruction.I try so hard to preach the gospel of volunteerism. Where,youths should dedicate there time and energy in doing something instead of remaining idle because an idol mind is a devils workshop. Youths contribute 70% of our population,but the government has fail to involve them. With the help of various Non-governmental organization,Youths have been train from being job seekers to job creaters. As Social Scientist,i have always appreciated whemm people volunteer and thats why i would like to be part of volunteer in Bresil.
