During the Rio+20 we will show first a photo exhibition about the Nuclear Accident of Brazil 1987 with radioactive Ceasium-137. Then 6 days after the Rio plus 20 starts the Uranium Film Festival in the Cinema of the famous Modern Art Museum of Rio de Janeiro called MAM. In order to ensure a peaceful general election in March 2013 in Kenya and to avoid the post election violence witnessed in 2007/2008, The Coast interfaith council of clerics(CICC) has continued to carry out peace campaigns throughout the Voi constituency in programs which involve the entire public through forums where the members of different faith engage and interact with the public in issues of tolerance, respect, mutual understanding and friendship as a way to bringing about peace as a way of guaranteeing coercion, national unity while recognizing diversity in communities. At least 1300 people lost their lives with lots of properties destroyed and 600 000 internally displaced where 150 000 still live in tents within camps in Kenya. The message we carry is everyone's effort counts in bringing about peace and harmony.

Our actions tell more and speak louder than our words. But everything begins with a single thought. Seeing sometimes aggression or misbehavior in our life we can always do something, even by explaining what is good or what is bad, asking for help around, letting aggressor recall of the consequences, remembering him or her that he or she in someway has also gotten relatives and they deserve better treatment. Everybody knows this but yet, we, people still need guidance. And what is the most important thing, we can show better way to act and reach our goals, by giving LOVE not aggression. I have somehow worked in Africa. I just tried to understand local people, tried to be polite and help sometimes financially, sometimes morally. What I found out they gave me more in value, than I gave them in cash. I've gotten new friends and they've enriched my life. As one of the greatest man in our contemporary history, a real gentleman, king of pop-music Mr. Michael Jackson sang "Heal the world, make it a better place", I want to make my contribution, because understanding, tolerance, transparency, trust, traditions and especially LOVE become more and more actual. Every religion teaches us these principles, now we just have to act on them. We have to live according our nature not against it, improve and develop not degrade. May our endeavors be blessed, Amen.

With UNV at Kosovo, I was surprised to work in a very cold country. While I took off the plane, the hail came down, I felt shaking and pain in my ears. At night, I asked the landlord to take me buying a coat at a shop to use, unfortunately it was a big and long ones which is not fit to me, but I have to take it.
During registration period, people were eager to come to registration center for their Identity Card and for the election. Day to day, registration team received many people and moving from place to place for the convenience. At Liberia, during the election date, I did not take any rest nor sleeping for the whole day and night with my counterpart and all electoral staffs in order to make sure that the ballot papers are in the ballot boxes and sealed correctly before taking them to the Tally Center. People came to wait in front of the polling center since the dawn before the poll was started. At East Timor, in voter education period, I and my team went to a remote area on the top of the mountain and use the loud speaker to call people for the information of election. I climbed up a tree to shout for gathering people who resided up and down of the mount. Some places, I have to drive crossing the flowing river following the step of my team who walked in the water up to their waist. At Sudan (Southern Sudan), voter education took a long time to conduct workshop, seminar, training, meeting, conference at NGO center, Government hall, community field, church and mosque area, under the tree and tukul of people.
Posters, leaflets, stickers, banners, shirts, caps, bags, rubber bands, skirts and flip charts were distributed during dissemination for people to understand and feel free to cast the vote.
Voter education is the key for people to realise and understand about election and referendum. Sudanese had a successful of these 2 events. I feel proud myself to be UNV member which I can share and exchange my knowledge and experiences with people in the world.
