I believe that we are capable of the most extraordinary success. I believe that it is human responsibility to protect and preserve our world. Hola amigos, quiero compartir la alegria que a nuestra organizacion AMERINKA nos da ser parte del cambio; trabajamos en temas de discapacidad principalmente y nuestra labor la realizamos en zonas en donde las personas carente de recursos lo requieren.

 

En su mayoria todo nuestro equipo de trabajo esta conformado por profesionales de la Salud pero tambien contamos con empresarios que colaboran personal y economicamente con nuestra causa, consideramos que el estrechar la relacion entre las organizaciones y sus voluntario puede hacer que el cambio necesario se de mas rapida y profundamente en la sociedad.

 

El compartir contactos, informacion, etc. nos hizo optimizar nuestros recurso y obviamente el beneficio fue mayor para nuestros beneficiarios quienes son quienes gracias a nuestra intervencion logran no solo desarrollo sino la motivacion para replicar en sumedida la ayuda recibida; digamos que transfieren lo aprendido.

 

Creemos que ser Voluntario es uno de los mas grandes placeres de la vida, solo hay que conocer esta emocion que se genera al sentir que estamos siendo parte de una cadenas de favores. Nuestro profundo reconocimiento a cada uno de los voluntarios en donde quiera que esten.

Como Voluntaria, estoy contribuyendo, junto con el equipo de trabajo del proyecto, en el desarrollo de una Estrategia de Servicios de Salud con Pertinencia Intercultural para ciudadanas y ciudadanos indígenas y en el fortalecimiento de las organizaciones de mujeres y jóvenes indígenas. En este trabajo he podido apoyar en que comunidades alejadas en la selva y en la sierra peruana, y representantes de organizaciones regionales se fortalezcan en sus habilidades de abogacía e incidencia, y en su negociación e interacción con autoridades y el personal de salud.

 

Igualmente, hemos logrado que los proveedores de salud mejoren sus habilidades interculturales en el servicio y empiecen a dialogar con sus comunidades y articular la salud con los y las agentes de la medicina tradicional.

 

Para mí, es sumamente importante ver el cambio que se está produciendo, ver que tanta gente se ha movilizado para reclamar sus derechos en salud y más importante todavía a colaborar para el cumplimiento de los acuerdos tomados. Y poder ver que también algunos líderes masculinos, tanto jóvenes cuanto mayores promueven la inclusión de la mujer indígena en espacios de toma de decisión.

Hi my Name is Darwin SLusher i'm the Founder & Director of the National First AId Team here in Belize, we're the only youth based non-profit youth base medical first response team in the country, that fight hard for better pre-hospital care in Belize esp to all the poor people who can't afford to be taken into an ambulance in medical crisis.

We stand for a non corruput health system where people can have options and can afford to see a doctor with out having to be turn back b/c of the finincial stability !

Working for the RSI-association in the Netherlands, I give our patients a lot of information about reseach, their legal rights and a platform to share their problems and solutions, all this to improve their situation and their position.

2005 Earth quake worked over there as a volunteer in Bagh, Muzafarabad AZK victims. Raised funds from the people to help the AZK victims from the disaster which they were faced at that time. I personally visited over there with my friends and check the situation of the victims that what they need the most so we started to give them medical treatment provide them shelter¬s as a tent for at least one family. Provide them food in different forms so they can easily have that food and buried those people who were expired due to the disaster.

Send Singapore International Volunteers to help build and install bio sand water filters over a 4 days trip in the villages around Siem Reap. We work in partnership with Water for Cambodia in providing clean, disease-free water to tens of thousands of rural villagers in Siem Reap. It is a wonderful experience and an eye opener for Singaporeans.

Dear Volunteers, I would like to share with you my volunteer experience in Sierra Leone war and Ivory coast political crisis. I am working in the medical unit as a UNV Nurse in the United Nations peace keeping mission in Ivory Coast. During the political crisis,I was considered as an essential staff working 24hrs in the Level 1+hospital taking care of the wounded and sick civilians and pro Bagbo fighters. We were working 24hrs with out food and sleep, but as a volunteer I was enjoying the work.

As a volunteer serving in the United Nation Mission In South Sudan. I am presently providing save drinking water to more tha 800 populates of Mulang community in WAU. That is the State Capital of Western Bar Al Gazel State. This is the water source for the United Nations water treatment plants and we are also provinding to the community to make sure they benifit from our volunteering activities. Regards. Aaron
