On International Volunteer Day (IVD) December 5, 2012, under the theme of “Celebrate Volunteering”, we celebrated our commitment and hope for a better world.
The purpose is to recognise this commitment, to inform people about the impact of volunteering on education and sustainable development, and to applaud volunteers who already worked with us during the year 2012.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has chipped in with time, money and support to look after disadvantaged children this year. International volunteer from Germany, South Korea, Spain, New Zealand ,France, USA, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Italy, England, Austria and Netherlands, we sincerely congratulate you for your passion for serving others, your dedication to volunteering, and your continued desire to help build a better world..
We'd especially like to acknowledge YACD volunteers from all over the country who involved in our volunteer projects.
Our volunteers consistently demonstrate an amazing enthusiasm for the work they do and incredible willingness to help out wherever their input is requested. They are people from different background students, working professionals, teachers and retirees, etc United by the Love of volunteer work.
Because of our volunteers, there are countless opportunities we have been able to provide to our children and our community that otherwise would not have been possible. So in honor of International Volunteer Day, we extend a warm thank you to all of you; YACD volunteers and international volunteer who are making this world a better place.
