Venezuela celebrates IVD 2012

These are the activities carried out to celebrate the IVD in Venezuela:

 

We've met with national and international volunteers to make a recognition for the important work that each of them contributes daily.  We shared Ms. Flavia Pansieri’s message, and heard the podcast from the website http:www.volunteeractioncounts.org.  Volunteers presented the activities they perform in their daily work, and shared lessons learned.

 

Ms. Flavia Pasieri’s IVD message was published on the UNDP website, and in some local newspapers.

 

The Resident Coordinator / UNDP Resident Representative in a concert “Locos por la Paz”, in Caracas on 25 November 2012, to celebrate the day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, publicly congratulated the volunteers and referred to December 5 as the IVD, a date dedicated to give recognition to all volunteers of the world for their invaluable contribution.
